Services & Modalities
Each session is thoughtfully customized to support your specific needs, goals, and preferences. I draw from a range of therapeutic massage modalities, blending techniques as appropriate rather than limiting your session to a single style. Sessions are billed by the minute, allowing the work to unfold at a pace that best serves your body and nervous system. Below is a list of modalities that may be incorporated into your session.
Swedish Massage
Swedish Massage is a classic, flowing style of massage designed to promote relaxation, improve circulation, and ease general muscle tension. Using long, smooth strokes combined with gentle kneading and rhythmic movements, this modality supports the parasympathetic nervous system and encourages overall physical and mental relaxation. Pressure can be adjusted to your comfort level, making Swedish massage an excellent choice for stress relief, improved body awareness, and those new to massage or seeking a lighter, more soothing session.
Neuromuscular Therapy
Neuromuscular Therapy is a targeted, therapeutic approach designed to address chronic pain, postural imbalances, and muscular dysfunction. This modality uses precise pressure and stretching on specific muscles, tendons, and connective tissue to release tension, correct alignment, and improve overall movement patterns. NMT can help reduce pain, increase range of motion, and restore proper function to areas affected by repetitive strain, injury, or long-term tension. Sessions are customized to the client’s needs, blending corrective techniques with relaxation where appropriate.
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep Tissue massage focuses on the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue to address chronic tension, restricted movement, and long-standing patterns of discomfort. Using slow, deliberate pressure and specific techniques, this work targets adhesions, trigger points, and areas of muscular imbalance. Deep Tissue is well suited for those experiencing persistent pain, repetitive strain, or limited range of motion, and can be adapted in pressure and pace to remain effective without being overwhelming. The goal is improved function, reduced pain, and lasting relief rather than temporary relaxation.
Myofascial Release
Myofascial Release is a gentle yet highly effective technique that works with the body’s fascial system, the connective tissue that surrounds and supports muscles, joints, and organs. Restrictions in fascia can develop from injury, stress, posture, or repetitive movement and may contribute to pain, stiffness, or limited mobility. This modality uses sustained, slow pressure and stretching to release fascial restrictions, allowing the tissue to soften and reorganize. The goal is improved movement, decreased tension, and a more balanced, integrated feeling throughout the body.
Craniosacral Therapy
Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle, noninvasive modality that works with the craniosacral system, which includes the membranes and fluid surrounding the brain and spinal cord. Using light, intentional touch, this approach supports the body’s natural ability to self regulate and restore balance within the nervous system. It is often helpful for stress related tension, headaches, jaw discomfort, chronic pain, and overall nervous system overload. Sessions are deeply calming and subtle, making this modality well suited for those seeking restorative work or sensitive to deeper pressure.
Sports Massage
Designed for athletes and active individuals, sports massage focuses on enhancing performance, preventing injury, and speeding recovery. This specialized approach uses techniques to target specific muscle groups, improve flexibility, and relieve tension caused by repetitive movements or intense physical activity. Whether you’re training for a competition or recovering from a workout, sports massage helps keep your body performing at its best.
Relaxing Lymphatic Drainage
Relaxing Lymphatic Drainage is a gentle, rhythmic modality designed to support the lymphatic system while promoting deep nervous system relaxation. Using light, precise movements, this work encourages lymph flow, helps reduce fluid retention, and supports the body’s natural detoxification processes. Sessions are slow and soothing, often creating a deeply calming effect that can ease stress, promote a sense of lightness, and support overall wellness. This modality is ideal for those seeking restorative care, subtle therapeutic support, or a deeply relaxing experience without deep pressure.
Scar Tissue Release
Scar Tissue Release focuses on improving mobility and comfort in areas affected by surgical scars, injury, or trauma. Using slow, specific techniques, this work helps soften adhesions and restrictions within the scar and surrounding tissue, supporting healthier movement and circulation. Scar work may help reduce pulling, tightness, sensitivity, or discomfort while improving overall tissue function. Sessions are approached gradually and respectfully, with pressure adjusted to your comfort level, and can be integrated into a broader treatment plan based on your needs and goals.
Aromatherapy
Aromatherapy Massage integrates therapeutic massage with the intentional use of high quality essential oils to support both physical and nervous system regulation. Essential oils are selected based on your needs and goals and may be calming, grounding, uplifting, or supportive for muscle tension and stress response. The oils are applied through massage to enhance relaxation, promote balance, and deepen the overall therapeutic effect of the session. Aromatherapy can be incorporated into any massage style and is ideal for those seeking a more holistic, sensory, and nervous system focused experience.
Reflexology
A therapeutic practice that involves applying pressure to specific points on the feet, hands, and ears to promote healing and relaxation throughout the body utilizing targeted techniques to stimulate these reflex areas, helping to alleviate stress, improve circulation, and support overall wellness. Ideal for those looking to enhance their health naturally, Reflexology provides a rejuvenating and balancing experience, leaving you feeling refreshed and revitalized.
